Northern Illinois Princess League Meeting
January 22, 2012
Sandwich Middle School

Meeting called to order at 1:00 p.m.
Board Members Present: Joe Roberts, President; Karen Frederick, Treasurer and Shannon Loy, Secretary.
Treasurer’s Report:  The balance of the account is $3,206.14.  We do not show that Harding paid the fee of $60.00 last year. 
Secretary’s Report:  Minutes from the previous meeting had been sent by e-mail to all coaches and town reps.  No addition or corrections to the minutes.  Motion was made by John Walsh and seconded by Tom Pierce to approve the secretary’s report.  All approved – motion passed.
Old Business:  None
Coaches Meeting:
There will be a meeting held on March 11th at 1:00 pm at the Sandwich Middle School.  At this time the rosters, $60 fee per team, number of teams from each town and copy of birth certificates for all girls will be collected.  Copies of the roster will be posted on the website, but will not show the birthdates of the girls.  NIPL will keep these on file if there is a conflict or question.  Motion was made by Dale Green and seconded by Jim Shankle to approve.  All approved – motion passed.

Board Members:
A request has been made to add to Board Members at large and asked for volunteers at the meeting.

Teams:
Serena, Somonauk and Yorkville may have 17U teams.

New Business:
Age exceptions – September 1st date.  There will no longer be an exception for girls that are held back a grade.  They will be required to play within their age group.  A motion was made by Jim Shankle to have an exception for a girl whose birthday is August 29th.  Seconded by Joe Roberts.  Two approved – 10 denied – motion denied.

Meeting adjourned:  Motion was made by Diana Rose and seconded by Tim Waldrup.  All approved – motion passed.
